Idea

What is my general idea for the feature? ("Tldr!")

  • Signals entrance and exit of the Levels.
  • Brings the Player to the next level but not back.

Intention / Requirements:

What am I trying to achieve with the idea and what are my constraints?

  • The Player will always know where the level started.
  • The Player has to find the Stairs and reach them in order to progress through Levels.
  • The entrance Stairs come from below the Level.

Design

What is my specific design for the feature?

Funktion:

  • When walking against them the player will transition to the new level (only exit Stairs).
  • Entrance stairs are only visual aid for the player.

Animations

  • Stairs walking animation (extremely low priority)

Variables

What Variables do I, as the Designer, need to balance this feature?

  • Entrance Stairs should be able to be placed at the same height as the floor.
